Welcome to the Angling Foundation

The Angling Foundation is a non-political, non-profit making body which advises on angling and fish welfare issues. It gives guidance on these matters by the production of voluntary standards, guidelines and best practice for all sectors of the sport and industry in the UK. All Angling Foundation guidance takes due regard to environmental and conservation issues.

Additionally the Angling Foundation seeks to further the participation in angling through support of projects for the promotion of angling, especially with young, disabled or disadvantaged groups and projects for the recruitment of new anglers.

The Angling Foundation is supported by the Professional Coarse Fisheries Association, the Angling Trades Association and other angling organisations.
